Qiwamah is Journal of Family Law and Gender Justice. It is a double peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the study of family law and gender justice from interdisciplinary, critical, and contextual perspectives. The journal provides a scholarly platform for researchers, academics, legal practitioners, and scholars to explore contemporary issues concerning marriage, divorce, child and family rights, Islamic family law, gender relations, women’s rights, and the transformation of family law in response to social, legal, and cultural developments.
Qiwamah particularly welcomes research that examines the relationship between law, family, gender, religion, and social justice, including studies on Islamic jurisprudence, legal reform, gender equality, protection of vulnerable groups, family policies, and emerging challenges in family life.
