Pembentukan Karakter Islami Peserta Didik Melalui Pembiasaan Ubudiyah Dan Akhlakul Karimah Di Mi Ma’arif Nu Banteran

This study aims to analyze the process of Islamic character formation in students through the habit of ubudiyah and akhlakul karimah at MI Ma'arif NU Banteran. The background of this study is based on the importance of character education at the elementary level amidst the challenges of the digital era that have the potential to shift moral and religious values. The study used a qualitative approach with a field research type. Data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews with the madrasah principal, teachers, and students, as well as documentation of the madrasah activity program.The results of the study indicate that Islamic character formation is implemented systematically through the habit of ubudiyah program, such as congregational dhuha prayer, recitation of Asmaul Husana, regular mujahadah every Friday, and memorization of Juz 30. In addition, the habit of akhlakul karimah is implemented through strengthening morals towards Allah SWT, teachers, fellow friends, and the school environment, which is manifested in the 3S culture (Smile, Greet, Greeting), discipline, mutual respect, and responsibility for maintaining cleanliness and madrasah facilities.The role of teachers as good role models is a crucial factor in internalizing these values.This study concludes that consistent and integrated habituation into daily madrasah activities is effective in developing religious character, discipline, and noble morals in students, thus creating a balance between faith, knowledge, and good deeds.
